I am ECSTATIC to announce that CIVET won the award for BEST SCI-FI SHORT FILM at MidWest WeirdFest 2019! My humble thanks to Dean Bertram and the MWWF crew! I had a blast in Eau Claire, met many cool people and I share this award with all of my collaborators. THRILLED to announce that CIVET is nominated for four awards by the Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival: Best Effects - Best Escapism Film - Best Production Design - Best Musical Score/Supervision! I had an absolute blast this weekend screening CIVET at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon twice, to over 500 people. My film was a runner up in the audience choice award vote, I did two wonderful post screening Q&As and met many other great artists. With the type of films I make, I wonder ultimately who my true audience is. CIVET will screen TWICE (!!) at the H .P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday October 7 at The Hollywood Theater during the NSFW Short Film Block 6.5.!
